The apostle Paul wrote that “we walk by faith, not by sight.” This is true of everyone. No one has done first-hand, direct examination of the evidence for everything they believe. We all choose to trust the expertise of others in most things. For Christians, we choose to trust God’s Word and its witness to the truth. Galatians 2:20 reads “the life I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
