Ever been in a situation where you felt completely out of place? According to the Bible, believers are out of place in this world. Hebrews 11 calls us “strangers and exiles on the earth.” Anyone who loves this world system demonstrates that they don’t love God (1 John 2:15).
Yet it’s human nature to want to belong. Because of this, we are tempted to adjust our beliefs and behavior to align with our culture. This places us in great peril. In this series of messages called Christ and Culture, we’ll examine what the Bible says about living as God’s people, considering what we can accept and what we must reject from this world.
