His name means the Lord saves. The prophet Isaiah was commissioned by God to bring a message of judgment to God’s people, and to call them to repentance. Sadly, they refused to listen and brought on themselves the very things Isaiah said would happen. But his message also include future hope as he predicted a coming Servant who would provide atonement for their sin and bring justice to the world.
In this series of messages, Pastor Sheppard examines three key chapters from the Old Testament book of Isaiah. They provide stern warnings for us today, but also encourage us with the hope of future blessing and deliverance.
